Opole, Poland – June 2026 – Turawa Park, one of the leading retail destinations in the Opole region, continues to strengthen its offer with a series of new openings and an expansion agreement with one of its long-standing tenants. The latest leasing activity further enhances the center’s position as a convenient shopping, leisure and family destination for residents of Opole and the surrounding region.
Over the coming months, visitors to Turawa Park will benefit from several significant additions:
● Kinderplaneta, a leading family entertainment operator, will open a new approximately 900 sqm venue in July 2026.
● Xtreme Fitness has already opened its new 960 sqm fitness club in May 2026, expanding the center’s sports and wellness offering.
● JYSK, the international Scandinavian home furnishing retailer, is scheduled to open approximately 1000 sqm store in August 2026.
Turawa Park has also signed a lease extension and upsizing agreement with Grycan. Following the expansion, Grycan will occupy more than 200 sqm, becoming the largest Grycan location in Opole. The reopening of the ice cream and café concept in its new format is planned before the end of October 2026.
These transactions follow the successful repositioning and modernization of Turawa Park, which has attracted a number of new brands and strengthened its tenant mix. Recent leasing activity has contributed to a high occupancy level and further diversified the center’s offer across retail, leisure, dining and everyday services.
“The continued strengthening of Turawa Park’s tenant mix demonstrates the effectiveness of our long-term asset management strategy. The addition of Kinderplaneta, Xtreme Fitness and JYSK significantly broadens the centre’s family, leisure, wellness and home furnishing offer, while Grycan’s expansion underlines the confidence that established brands place in Turawa Park. Our goal is to create a destination that responds to the everyday needs of customers while delivering sustainable growth for our tenants and partners. These openings represent another important milestone in Turawa Park’s ongoing development and reinforce its position as one of the leading retail destinations in the Opole region.” – Maxim Shkolnick, General Partner, Focus Estate Fund
The successful completion of these leasing transactions was supported by BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, which has been actively involved in the commercialization of Turawa Park and the execution of the latest lease agreements.
“The latest leasing transactions confirm Turawa Park’s strong market position and growing appeal among both retail and leisure operators. The combination of new openings and the expansion of existing tenants demonstrates the centre’s ability to respond effectively to changing consumer expectations. We are pleased to support Focus Estate Fund in the ongoing development of Turawa Park and in building a tenant mix that creates long-term value for both visitors and occupiers.” – Anna Plywacz, Head of Retail Leasing, BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland
Located just off Opole’s ring road and approximately ten minutes from the city center, Turawa Park is a well-established shopping destination combining a shopping gallery and retail park format. Opened in 2011, the scheme offers approximately 35,800 sqm of gross leasable area and hosts more than 50 retail and service units. Benefiting from excellent accessibility, a strong regional catchment area and extensive parking facilities, the center serves customers from Opole and across the wider Opole region.
The property features a diverse mix of international and domestic brands across grocery, fashion, home furnishings, electronics, health and beauty, dining and services. The arrival of Kinderplaneta, Xtreme Fitness and JYSK, together with the enlarged Grycan concept, further enriches the tenant mix and supports Turawa Park’s strategy of creating a comprehensive retail and leisure destination for the entire family.
The latest openings and expansion agreements demonstrate the continued confidence of retailers and service operators in Turawa Park’s performance and growth potential, while reinforcing the center’s role as one of the most important shopping destinations in southwestern Poland.
