Focus Estate Fund, an investor and asset manager of retail properties across Europe, announces the extension of lease agreements with key tenants Pepco and Deichmann at Galeria Awangarda in Bartoszyce, Poland. Under the renewed agreements, Pepco will continue operating its store of 535.82 sqm, while Deichmann occupies a unit of 450 sqm. The extensions reaffirm the strong market position of the asset and its continued attractiveness to leading retail brands.
A stable convenience retail asset
Galeria Awangarda is a modern convenience shopping center located in Bartoszyce, operating since 2016. The scheme offers approximately 6,000 sqm of gross leasable area (GLA) and comprises around 15 retail units, providing a convenient shopping destination for local residents.
The tenant mix includes well-known brands such as Biedronka, Rossmann, JYSK, KiK, Pepco and Deichmann, ensuring a complementary and diversified retail offer.
Pepco – a leading value retailer
Pepco is one of the fastest-growing discount retail chains in Europe, offering clothing and homeware at affordable prices. The brand operates over 1,000 stores in Poland and several thousand locations across Europe.
Pepco’s presence at Galeria Awangarda strengthens the value retail segment and attracts a broad customer base seeking quality products at competitive prices.
Deichmann – a strong footwear brand
Deichmann is the largest footwear retailer in Europe, offering a wide range of products for women, men and children, including casual, sports and formal shoes. The company has a strong presence across Europe and operates hundreds of stores in Poland.
Its store at Galeria Awangarda provides customers with access to a broad and affordable footwear assortment.
Long-term cooperation strategy
The lease extensions with Pepco and Deichmann are in line with Focus Estate Fund’s strategy of creating value through long-term tenant partnerships and active asset management of well-performing, mid-sized retail schemes.
– “The continued cooperation with well-established brands such as Pepco and Deichmann confirms the attractiveness of Galeria Awangarda and the effectiveness of our asset management strategy. We remain focused on long-term value creation and further enhancing the tenant mix” – said Maxim Shkolnick, General Partner, Focus Estate Fund.
